A true nightmare for parishioners in a small dutch town called Hoeven has become reality: their beloved church has to close its doors for good. Fear of the unknown and mourning for what once was. A portrait about farewell, sadness and friendship within a Catholic community.
I had the opportunity to collaborate with a remarkable choir from the Conservatory of Amsterdam for this project. Their voices added a captivating layer to my music for this film.
